The Board of Disability Intermediaries Australia is delighted to announce that Mr Jess Harper has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of DIA. Mr Harper commenced on 11 November 2019.
Mr Harper has a distinguished history of senior leadership roles within both the public and private sectors. As the former Director of Market Intermediaries at the National Disability Insurance Agency, Mr Harper is a long time champion of plan management and support coordination.
Welcoming Mr Harper’s appointment on behalf of the DIA Board, the Chair, Mrs Julie Keene, said:
“Jess possesses a deep understanding of our market and operating environment along with an impressive track record in strategic enterprise development. The Board has appointed a leader who is deeply skilled, committed to people with disability and their families and who understands the importance and benefits that plan management and support coordination services deliver to people with a disability and the NDIS.
Jess is the ideal CEO to guide DIA through the next stage of our growth, and his appointment marks a major milestone for DIA as we continue our important work.”
On his appointment Mr Harper said:
